Focus problems!

Hi guys,

I've got a 2012 focus 1.0 ecoboost (100ps) that doesn't seem to have any turbo, and also if you use the brakes, let off, and go straight back on the pedal it's rock solid. If you hold the brake and the revs the pedal does go down very slowly eventually. This happens if the engines hot or cold.

Someone has pointed out a vacuum leak could be causing both problems? (no idea where to start looking)

Any help would greatly appreciated as I'm concerned about using the car with the family.
