Having changed the engine in my car, and converted it to dry sump, I don't have any natural take off point for oil pressure, does it matter where I measure it, obviously it will be on the pressure side of the pump, but can I measure it anywhere ?
Thanks.

Would the pipe from pump into the block be OK?
My old v12 had the sender on the pipe that fed the camshafts. So it was after the crank had been fed.

Obviously I dont know what engine you are using or the configuration, so hard to say.

So I'll just repeat the same, ideally as close to the main galleries as possible.
V8 Jaguar. Oil sender been removed as it's part of the natural sump I've removed.

Should oil pressure be the same anywhere in the engine.
