On their website they trumpet how their package is 'all in one' so the costs are easy to understand, but they don't have one single pricing detail on there from what I can see.

Does anyone know the rough price range for a 2wd setup to buy outright? (having a rough/any guide price on websites seems to afflict dyno retailers wink )

Thanks

Dave

Cripes, they are all a bit more expensive than I had imagined. Somehow I had the figure of £12,000-£15,000 for a Dyno Dynamics 2wd setup...

Hrmmmm, well they seem to be of the kind of value where if I bothered it'd have to be almost business centric, or at least operated every day for a good two years before it made any money at the £40,000 price brackets anyway.

Considering there are a few dyno operators here, how much would you look at charging for a day on a Dynapack setup, or some dyno at least that can hold any rpm/load for static state tuning?

Really is quite frustrating that they cost so much really, as I don't really want too many features at all, just being able to hold certain rpm's would be pretty much all I needed. I might have to build some hub adaptors with some huge lorry brakes on the ends hehe

Thanks for the info so far everyone smile

Well, there is a bit more dyno saturation in the North Leeds area than there used to be so competition would be fairly stiff if it were a fairly full-time thing...

Do dyno's often go 2nd hand...? I know it's fairly easy to pick up three phase tyre machines and balancers and two/four post jacks, but obviously dyno's are a fair bit less ubiquitous... but I can't seem to find much wrt to sales of them...

Thanks once again smile
