Had been noticing a bit of condensation in the car but just put it down to the weather we had had before Christmas, very wet and car parked outside near the sea. Just came back from a weeks holiday and found the rear passenger footwell with a fair sized puddle of water, checked round the car but couldn't see any obvious leak, car has been outside in storms and 80mph winds so I am sure this has not helped.

Have soaked up a fair bit but still very damp, the car is still under warranty so hopefully I'll be able to sort things out. I also suspect there must be a fair amount of damp under the carpet.

Anyone else had problems like this?

Thanks folks, windows were defenitely up and cannot see any obvious moisture tracks inside, boot is bone dry. I am trying to dry it out just now, have air con on and car ticking over, any other ideas? Will have a closer look at the seals in daylight tomorrow.

LOL!

Haven't been then for a while, just like the sound of the name. Sounds like I'll give Vauxhall a ring tomorrow, is there only one vxr8 specialist in Glasgow? The Mount Vernon one? Arnold Clarks.

Phoned today, sounded helpful, have no previous reports of leaks but don't really see alot of vxr8s. Will take it in and dry it out and see if they can locate problem. Also mentioned a £250 initial labour fee to identify fault and check if it is under warranty. Does this sound about right?
