Rolling the arches

Any experts tell me on a VT how much wider my tyres can be on it if I roll the arches? I'm assuming 255s? if so what's the offset to allow it? 235s just are laughable....

Far to costly. I would otherwise. And would rather forge the engine and a few bits instead.

It's on the standard 8J 18x235 45s I think is the profile. Offset unknown bit got wheels of tomorrow so can check.

Would like new wheels and seen some I like. Need to find out the make of them. But want to know the max tyre to work out the rim width. The other option is arch extension like the thor car.

My thought too. Although a cut/trim resell might cause less rust in the future.
