Am here now (free wifi, epic!), I've never seen so many Monaro's and R8's in one place! It's like a naughty dream! cloud9 *girlish giggle*

They're just starting on my car now, just been speaking with Roger (friendly genuine chap), he's just pointed out that I've had the inside of the rear arches trimmed back to fit the 20" rims (something the previous owner did), there's no spot welds left holding the outer wing to the wheel arch headache I think today is gonna be a "fun" day of finding out all the little "quirks" that Brian* has...

Oh and yes, I too sailed STRAIGHT past the entrance luckily there was a little entrance on the road to do a 3-pointer in.

Moif; There's a black R8 on their lift at the moment, that yours? Roger used that as a comparison of what wheel arch spot welds Brian should have.

* Brian Blessed, nickname given to my R8 by the other half because it's loud, angry, big and red(faced)

Stop trying to get me into trouble you!

I would love to get some cams into my R8, and an LS7 clutch to match, but just can't afford it. If I was (much) better off, I'd be like "Here's £20k, break the 1000 RWHP mark please "

Well, the cherry is popped and I needed a cigarette

All in all, very happy with the level of service received from Roger and Paul (Chris and remaining staff not on this Sat's shift), had some really good convo with both and the quality of services offered have made me want to always take my R8 back to them again for its next service

Work I had done (in order);

* 20,000 mile service
* Windshield washer bottle neck replaced
* Gearbox oil change

All for a price that undercut the stealer by a good margin with far more trustworthiness. A word of note on the last one (gearbox oil), they had just finished putting the front bumper back on when I idly said "I just wish engaging gears on cold wasn't a chore", Roger recommended the gearbox oil was tired, opted to have it done and it's made gear changes feel much more positive and much less difficult. Money well spent!

I only got a couple of pics of the day, a dirty pic of Brian with his skirts off...

...and of (what I was just checking to be) moif's motor...

Now to sell a few internal organs to buy a supercharger...

See, we said there was nothing to worry about.

I know, I was being sarcastic in my first post, hence the wink

(The whole reason I took it to Monkfish was because everyone here praises them, you can't argue with so much positive feedback )
