Good to meet you again today Ian and Cheryl. Glad its going to a good home. Must be one of the youngest members in a 4 dr HSV.
It will bring the VXR8 / GTS average age down below Monaro owners

I tell you what Mate, you have an awful lot of hats to eat!!!!Can understand the need to move on though. At least the Mrs knows what to get you for Christmas.
I'll take all the banter that's out there, no skin off my nose, plus, what a car to have

Congratulations, you rickety old fart!
Will you have the keys in time for next Sunday in Northampton? Would be great to see it there!
We'll have to make sure the diner does soft boiled eggs for you, don't forget your dentures!
Car looks fantastic though, yellow taxi light going on top soon?

Think I'll be a glamour grandad as I don't own slippers but I do have house trainers
Got loads of gadgets to learn how to use tho
I've Heard that the rear doors work almost exactly the same way as the front ones on the 'Ro, but there's an extra seat and look in the glovebox for the Werthers Originals Got loads of gadgets to learn how to use tho
Hopefully a fresh pack will be provided for my journey home ?

Well done old boy
Anybody else celebrating ?
I am celebrating the fact that I am definitely moving to Australia, I was given the good news last week. Job offered in sunny Perth with a sponsored visa to get us there, then sponsorship for permanent residency and also discussing a relocation package too.Anybody else celebrating ?
So hopefully it won't be too long before we move, but I will of course miss meeting up in person with you all but I'll still be on here.
Hoping to take the VXR8 with me. Holden are sending me a certificate of compliance so I can take the car back to Oz subject to a whole host of things. If not then I'll probably pick one up when I get there.
But of course, back to topic, congrats Ian on the move to VXR8 ownership, especially the one you've gone for, excellent!!
Stef
What an opportunity and of course, another local OZ contact for parts for the forum

Congrats on the new purchase Ian looks mint, did you p/ex the 'ro?
Yes mate, JB gave me a good PX value and is looking after me with the prep of the GTS so it made perfect sense and it also means I haven't got to muck around selling mine.I'm sure it would of gone without much hassle, but I'm lazy
