Nice Stef, back in the fold before you know it

L77 6.0 - 270 KW ?
Mine has the L98, I think power is the same on the manuals on both the L77 and L98, I'm sure I read somewhere that the auto has about 13bhp more which mine is Ian. Auto was going to be my choice here just for ease of drivability on these roads!

Price? At the current exchange it cost me £11,000, so theoretically the VXR8 probably does make better financial sense for the UK but here the HSV Clubby R8 is quite a bit more than the SSV.

Plenty of scope for tuning on the SSV though...............

Yup, 2007.

Amazingly it costs me about £250 to insure fully comp protected! That was £60 more to insure than a 2008 Hyundai Getz I bought the wife!

When I got your mail I want sat in my GTS, looking at a E2 clubsport with the Pontiac front end.

Not to say the Holden V8 is common here, or anything.

Think I've seen more Hyundai's, but you HEAR more Holdens!

How did you go dealing with car yards. Did they trot out the usual drivel or were they ok?
They seemed OK to be honest, we bought two cars from two different dealers, both seemed honest and open, not massively different to the UK. Short and sweet with each as we were cash buyers and knew what we wanted.

Picked it up today, it's great to be back behind the wheel of something familiar!

It's Frickin loud though! I checked underneath and it's just a set of straight through pipes!!

Having said that, at 60-70mph on the freeway it's lovely and quiet, was expecting lots of drone but none at all at that speed, just an awesome burble!

I was driving back thinking this is way louder than my old Wortec................
