I have tried a search through old posts etc, and after looking at the images of the stick on badges is there a better option for changing the badge on the airbag?

Best option I have found so far is a second hand HSV VZ airbag which would work out at circa £185 landed.

This is my must hated Vauxhall badge... it keeps staring at me in a mocking pretend sort of way. It has to go.

Thanks mailer, I assume they're from domedbadge?

I'm really keen on the original matte badge, as per the images I think I would rather spend the extra and get original.

Yeah I know hence looking at buying the whole airbag unit! Trying to justify £185 and I think I can...

Cheers Stef, James (Sturdy) has very kindly offered one at a fair price that he had so looks like it is going to be ok after all - no more Vauxhall badging! Cheers, Dan

...Not cheap, but worth it for the OEM look and to satisfy my OCD I think.
This is where I was coming from initially for replacing the whole airbag, I have seen general non sterring wheel HSV badges at some pretty silly money in Aus which actually made replacing the whole unit seem more affordable.

OEM just looks tidier for my compulsions also...

So I suppose it's really the most expensive steering wheel badge "IN THE WORLD"
You win! :-)

How are you getting it back though? Not sure it will work as carry on!

Hopefully bring it back in the suitcase
Are you flying Saddam Hussein Airlines :-)

Probably classed as explosives, the one I found was AU$110 but they can only sea freight them due to regulations.
