Check Engine ,running rough and ESP off - any advice ?

I am relatively new to the VXR8. I have a 2008 6.2 LS3 which has been problem free for 6 months. After a short run out yesterday when I restarted car got Check Engine , plus rough idle sounds like missing a cylinder or two and after another minute ESP off /Stability control off message comes on too. Seen various posts on poor battery being a cause and looked through FAQs. Have had battery on overnight on a CTEK so now shows fully charged but still get same symptoms. Its due to go to Motorbodies Luton to get a new spare key so they can check it I guess but they didnt sound very clued up about the R8 so a bit concerned about getting into the "replace random components at customer cost" scenario.

Motorbodies have said its one of the Coilpacks. Bit like my sadly gone E34 M5 - 1 coilpack per cylinder except 2 more. They better be right as labour and parts even with masterfit discount is pricey.
