I'm not selling it just sharing. If you read the m3 ad you'll see he had been speaking with dyno torque about the transplant. I'd guess 5-6k for their work on top of the 9.5 and then the 8.5 m3 adds up to 23-24k total.

All the bits new work out around £10250 (for a ls3 na), Its ok looking at an engine price & a box but its all the other bits you get with a used conversion
gear remote, prop, alternator bracket ,starter bolts, bellhousing bolts, clutch master & pipework etc etc etc & THE specialised breaker knows
If you already have a car you have the ancillaries so then it would be a yes to buy new
I also did offer the chap a supercharged ls powered 3 series for cheaper than to build one but declined , cheaper to buy than build .
You have a supercharged ls powered 3 series?

One of my best pals who is on here owns it, I supplied engine , box , blower & made all the mounts etc.
Forged Ls2 with heads cam etc etc with Vortech V2
The car is mint & he was going to sell , it should be at the Bmw show on the Eibach stand
Its been done about 4 years
Nice

What Bmw show?

No, didn't touch the mapping, added the kit, mix was around 12%, stuck it on the same rollers and went from 460 to 480. Nothing else was touched on the car.

Meth was sprayed around 4PSI onwards
That's funny someone else did the same and apparently lost 20hp (LS2 +TVS).

As Stevie says, I'm sure you need to map for it, I also didn't get the results you had, quite the opposite???
Perhaps as the 122 generated more heat, the spray mix was evaporated much more quickly than the later TVS units so more colder air was being injected?

Perhaps having the mist come on at a later PSI would be better on the TVS?

All I know is that it worked on mine without having to touch anything !
I wonder if you were both injecting in the same place? Before or after the 'charger?
Well mine was before.
Ok I'm a complete novice when it comes to charged LS engines BUT surely there is less benefit injecting meth before the charger. And yes I do have an A-level in physics and understand Boyle's law.
