Not my issue but Nostradamus's

Would appreciate it if a few members could read his thread and steer clear of the trader.

Nost is one of lifes loveable characters, not a bad bone in his body and such a placid character and to be turned over by a dealer he trusted is totally unfair.

http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?26...

If anyone has or knows of any good/bad experiences with this trader please share.

Thanks all.

Christ Ian, is this a big loophole they know they can get away with it, surely somewhere it has to stop.

This is a nightmare situation then, so legally they havent done anything wrong.

They dont seem to have a FB page so cant spread it that easily although a link to there website might help but that will just get his hits up.

I'd post in to SPL as this reeks of deception/fraud but as ever not a lawyer so ask a pro's advice ie Breadvan or Soovy
Posted, not sure if mods will allow two threads, if not could this one be moved to SPL

Good luck. It's classed as a civil, not criminal matter, so Police and CPS won't lift a finger.
This is one fked up system, clearly its theft/deception yet no one can help.

this is why he needs good, valid, legal advice from a practicing lawyer asap araf's opinion is a lay opinion and could be 100% accurate or 100% bunkum
Nost has a QC in the family so they are already onto it. Hopefully deception is the order of the day.

according to google maps, it is in a big open exposure area - a big forecourt, petrol station, premier inn, major road junction. its the old Trinity Motors Landrover / Mazda dealer site that went bust in 2012

think it maybe an idea need to get a few of you down there this morning for a noticeable presence to get the message across ands put any potential clients off going in. then the Hinckley press might turn up
Stu is trying again today with the scammer, it doesnt sound promising to be honest but if that fails then maybe mass protest next week, I suppose saturdays are a busy day for these guys.

off forum or via emails might be an issue, the numbers are quite large.

We could just arrange a meet for the pub next to the dealer.

Gents, Quick update,

Stuart has sent a statutory demand by special delivery so he can prove it gets there, 3 weeks today he will then go up to hinckley to inform them he is folding up the business with a winding up order.

Its on this day he would like us all to support him on mass.

I did post it in SP&L but it got removed for cross posting.

Maybe this thread could be moved if it would help.

I know that you're only saying that in jest, but the main problem with a big group, is keeping public order.
Peaceful protest Ian, we have no need for anything else, can it hurt to try a bit of people power ?

Not at all, and I wish Nost the best of luck in getting his money back, but I'm just pointing out that it's difficult to control a large group, when emotions are running high. The intention is always peaceful, but you need everyone to keep to that, or they stay away.
Pointers will be given at the pre meet, and as i know most on that forum I dont foresee any issues like you suggest

Problem is with this country no one stands up to anyone anymore, they take the shafting and move along to let someone else do it to them.

It gets Worse !!! Thread on VXR Online shows that another Guy has been similarly shafted over the sale of his Maserati within the last couple of weeks.
Another member on VXRO has a family member going through the same as Nost.

The list could potentially be bigger than we think.

The idea of the meet is to disrupt the business on the day and also highlight to other owners who have handed there car to them for sale or return that it isnt what they say it is.

Clearly they are on the move, Kevins divorce may have forced his hand on a few things but he doesnt seem the shy type and just keep going.

IF anyone knows of any owner who potentially has a car on the forecourt please try and get in touch with them and advise that there car and there cash might be going elsewhere.

Just catching up on the other forum, jackering has been to the dealers today, seems the new branding is making an appearance and a bit of packing in the dealership, but business as usual it seems,

Oh and the press are aware of the meet also as Stu kindly copied them into some correspondence he sent to Kevin.

Lets hope the weather is good smile

So if we are having a meet to show this prick how close the community is would it not make sense to put a new meet thread up just for details and an attendance listing?
