Had a bit of an oddity this weekend, despite being ill I managed to take the Ro for a drive to try and clear my head a bit. No issues to speak of until I got home, I stopped the car then started it again to move her onto the driveway and when I did that the service message changed, it normally says "Service 175,000" but it changed to "Service your car soon" and then directly after that the "Check Engine" flashed up, beeped at me for a while then went away.

I stopped the car and restarted it to see if I could recreate the problem.....didn't happen again.

Ummmmmmmmmm...............what the hell? :P

Ignore the service warning.. Have seen the engine light come on on mine somethimes IF you stop then restart the engine, IIRC its just an o2 sensor/fuel thing. Unless it starts doing it alot, i would not worry.
I suspected as much, it's just that pause and stare we all make when it appears. biggrin
