Monaro bonnet release

I bought a new cable ages ago as mine was stretched., needing 2 people to open the bonnet.

Finally opened the box today to find it is an assembly including the release lever etc.

Ccan anyone tell me how to get at, and replace, the release lever? Seems I need some dash panels off - at least the lower one, and maybe the side vent?

There are no obvious screws except the one inside the vent so, atypically for me I thought I'd ask 'what and how' (rather than doing my usual 'dive in to the sound of brittle plastic clips snapping' )

Thanks lads, I'll give it a go.

(The cable is stretched and rusty so need to replace the whole, rather than adjust it at the bonnet end).
