CV8 brake noise and wear

Hey all,

I've not owned my CV8 Monaro for long but have noticed when driving and NOT braking, there is a metallic scraping sound which I am sure is coming from the brakes, I have also noticed that the discs are worn in what seems to me to be a strange way, in that the wear is not to the outer edge of the disc:




Does anyone know if this is normal?

The pads seems to have a lot of wear left so I don't think that is an issue (I meant to include that in my post).

There is definitely a lot of lip though, which does seem unusual to me?
