Hi,
So I was driving on a dual carriageway the other night. Scirocco R comes right behind me. A few pedal to the medal accelearations in 3rd proved he was no slower. I was disappointed... Gen F @585bhp vs Roco R with 300 bhp at most if remapped...

Or is there something wrong with my car? Messed with the bypass valve. No matter how I adjust it, it always boosts up to 59kpa. Unlike others' that see 65kpa after the alteration.

Also, the car feels a bit juddery when cold (not so much misfiring, I hope). When warm it is better. Also, sudden stumping on the accelerator when at speed around 1500revs, and it gives a short hesitation, and then it goes.

New, unmodified Gen-F. Time to visit the dealer?

Thanks
Bart

Ok, thanks for cheering me up.

But any clue as to the slight vibration under very light load when cold?

Fair enough then. Soon after having my performance compromised (nearly feels as that), I googled the stats, and the quickest I read about was low 5s with remap. Mind that was with something like 300bhp.

That could be a plug or lead breaking down.

Just to cheer you up more, our old VXR8 started missing, then 200 miles later the PCM packed up. frown

But you're under warranty. clap
Hopefully not, as that would mean poor quality... Although I had one of the sunroof sliding mechanism covers nearly depart when closing the sunroof at a considerable speed...

That's true. The V8 noise is melody to my ears, especially when I'm gonna get a decent exhaust smile

I like the HSV being rear wheel drive only. Always keeps you on your toes. smile

And those days I want to feel the stability, I drive my gf's Aygo or my grand cherokee monster :P
