Who's travelling from the North on the Friday down to one of the Prem Inn's?

Plan is to meet up at 1pm at the below address:

McDonalds,
Redhouse Interchange,
Rockingham Way,
Doncaster,
South Yorkshire
DN6 7FB

Get there for 1pm, leave by 1.15pm.

The route will take us down the A1 towards Peterborough, then on through Cambridge and into Ipswitch.

If anyone else wants to join us on the way down then let me know and we'll see if we can arrange a stop off point where we can meet up.

Are you coming down the A1 as normal? If so I'll sort out a place not far from where we met last time.

DRC is close by and I can swing across and meet up.

Thanks paul lol. A should be finished at walkies for lunch time. What time roughly are tou passing that area
We won't be passing on Fri as the route to Ipswich doesn't take us anywhere near Oxford.

We will be passing near Cambridge though. Your route from Walkies to Ipswich could take you through Cambridge. We could try and meet up there but I've no idea on times yet. Let me know if you want to do this and I'll sort something out.

I just need to drop Sarah off at her mothers with the Bairn being due on the Monday at thunder road.

Once I have the time I will for the meet I can sort this out and look at a meet point as I would be over at Edenthorpe.

Dale.
No worries, I was thinking about meeting up at Red House, only 20 mins away from Edenthorpe

Sorry to crash the Northern Monkey's thread, but were you going to advertise the Friday night eating place, or are Softie Southerners excluded?

We're happy to come to your hotel, if that's the consensus. smile
I was just going to eat in our hotel and consume a few beers. All welcome to come and join us smile

I doubt we'll be there by then. I don't know what time I'll be leaving work yet. frown
No problem, I'm sure we'll be sufficiently watered by the time you get there.

Is it worth making plans to book a table for a set time and set number of bums? I'm thinking maybe not as most are probably going to arrive whenever previous commitments dictate.

From what I remember, their meal delivery is pretty haphazard as well. 4 or 5 meals at a time seems to be all the kitchen can cope with. Can you imagine what it would be like if they had to deal with 15-20 at once?
Fair enough. We'll sort ourselves out food wise and bump into you in the bar/restaurant at some point in the evening smile

Here's a vid I took with mine last year. Unfortunately, YouTube removed the sound as I borrowed the BBC F1 theme music at the start of the vid:
