I tried out the shell Pay and Go service today, works a treat!!! no going into the shop to pay, download app to your phone register your paypal account, turn up at the pump point phone at the bar code select payment amount and then fill up and the pump stops at the desired amount and drive off, sounds a bit of hassle but definitely not, and it also adds the shell points to your account too so no swiping that through at the till. top marks Shell

Yes you can, i put in a limit of £100, if it takes only £30 then thats all you will be charged

I've been using it for the last couple of months before it was rolled out fully, it works but i'm not sure it's actually quicker unless there is a big queue at the counter
Definitely quicker but it may be that I have an Iphone biggrin

It's a great idea, just apply a reasonably accurate pre-pay amount unless you're not bothered about returning funds to your card account.
In the "Fill Up And Go" FAQ's.

What happens if the fuel spend limit isn’t reached?

As with any fuel purchase, you’ll only be charged for the amount of fuel dispensed, regardless of the limit set in advance. The difference between the fuel spend limit and the actual amount spent will be credited back. PayPal credit will be released straight away. Returning funds to a bank, debit or credit card will vary and could take up to 5 days to be completed.

You can also change the fill amount at any time before you fill up, you also get a very detailed receipt sent to email straight away which is printable
