boot not opening 04 cv8

When i press the boot release button on the key fob i can here the actuator working but boot lock not releasing.Manual release behind passenger headrest is broken a job i never got around doing.Any ideas please

Emergency cord not working.If i take seats out cut hole in bulk head is it still possible to get to the latch to open boot!

Spoke to MF today and as said number plate off driill hole in boot where lock is and flick the release catch job done.but not by me as i dong have the patiance lol once again Thankx guys

Mine did the same recently. It was the small shaft from the actuator to the lock had snapped. I made a new one from a mountain bike spoke!!! Was an easy fix but you obviously need to get the boot open first ?? unfortunately I can't help you with that bit. Good luck.

Many thanks may have a go this weekend at getting into the boot.lol
