The last bit of description sounds like someone is trying to sell it too hard, or do they all have bars in doors, and what not?

Of course not. Those are the questions I would ask myself IF I was looking for one. What got me curious was whether "Australian cars are of better quality, and safer because they have reinforcing bars in the doors". Sounded like a lot of low level poo to me, but is it likely / remotely true?

The seller has got an import Prius that he is using as an Uber driver, too. Being sold for more money than an equivalent main dealer car with half the mileage. Perhaps he has just relocated, and bought a couple of toys to make money on, as well as brought a tool to make a living with.

Exactly my point. I found it surprising for Holden to be top of the tree in terms of build quality. And having owned a few, my conclusion is that they are like chocolate bars. Sweet, but melt easily
