On my way home and bang!

Don't think that pulley is suppose to be there is it? Opened the bonnet to a tangle of belts.

Literally on my way home from having the pulleys and belts changed.

On way home in recovery truck. Any suggestions??

No, I've not had the crank pulley changed.

Looking through all receipts now. Last owner had crank changed in May 2014.

Today I had AC idler pulley, charger pulley and bearing, and front belts.

How's this bolt been in for 2 years, then works it way completely out 90 miles after I had work done?

There's 2 belts at the front right? Really long and a short one?

Yeah, I was thinking the same, just needed reassuring. It was WP that changed the pulleys today and I have 100% confidence in them.

Just seemed odd that after just 90 miles. Bang.

Thanks for all your help guys.

I've had it assessed. Looks like no damage, but bolt seems to be dodgy. Looks like it's been cut to length! WP as eager to see it as cont understand why it's been used on crank.

Only problem is now getting the car in its current state from South Wales to WP.

Looking at a few options. Anyone got a suggestions? Experience?

Really don't want to risk driving it until
I know it's sorted. Been so stressed about it.

Got a couple quotes for delivery from
£140. Would rather pay it for peace of mind.

Haven't confirmed anything yet, but Dave and WP have been awesome, offered to move some
upgrade work I booked earlier to do all at same time.

I am, they recovered me from roadside, as that what my cover includes. It's now at my house, so cover doesn't include a delivery from Merthyr to oxford.

Going to reevaluate my cover after this!

They recovered me from roadside to home. Can't see them being interested in taking it to To WP now.
