Indicater flashing too fast

My right Indicator is flashing twice as fast as the left hand side, starts off normally and then speeds up to twice as fast, im no car electrics expert so what causes this, Thanks.

Yes VXR8, been out to day and it did not do it at all???

Observation made today, if i hold the indicator stalk down it flashes at the normal rate??
