Hey all,

I've found the cause of my oil leak. Where I've had headers fitted, the dipstick was reshaped to accodomate. All was fine for about a month, then I noticed id lost a few drops of oil onto the drive.

I though it was crank seal, but I've had it up on the ramp today and where the dipstick tube connects at the bottom on the engine/sump, it's come out by about half an inch!

As a result it's pissing oil all over the place when driving.

I'm worried about sealing it up due to the amount of heat.
I'm also worried about bending it to suit as its bracket will no longer fit and I don't want to risk snapping it!

Has anyone had this issue or can suggest a best fix?
All help appreciated!

Panic over. For about 2 hours I could not get it back in, it just wasn't the right shape to get around the headers! Brackets just would not line up!

After much swearing and all of the silicon I could
Find, it won't be moving again!
