You know you're in for trouble when you bid on something cause it's no reserve and just too cheap. And then you find yourself watching the countdown clock ticking down to zero and no one else bids. And then it says "congratulations, you've won". And then you have to tell the wife.

So now I'm looking at my driveway and thinking, like, where's it going to go?

Just an old silver VXR8 (well I am 50 in March). In fact it's the oldest VXR8. Number 1. Not much to see really scratchchin

Pictures when I pick it up, which should be in the next seven days.

Yes - I hope to clean it up a bit. It'll be a Sunday car, so should stay clean too.

I like the idea of storing the engine and box in the garage next to all the other ones.

I did ask Richard about the compression ratio...evil

I had a look at Richard's new motor - a huge Caddie Escalade. Utterly epic - size of a three bed semi. Also nearly withdrew my bid to make an offer on his Maloo. Lucky b**ger.
