Anyone got a baby/toddler and a Monaro?

I am currently driving a big BMW but due to some changes in the warranty rules, I amy dump it late next year. By this time our littl'un will be 1 1/2 years old and in a forward facing child seat. Anyone got a nipper and Monaro who can share any advice/experience?

Cheers for the replies. I can assist with the rear facing bit. I borrowed a CV8 from Vauxhall and the Graco seat from their travel system with one of the clip in bases fits. The seat can be unclipped and just fits through the gap.

I've been reading on the Alpina Forum and partaking on the BMWCar Mag forum (I go by the ID V12 EGO on both). My issue is that, today, I have worry free motoring and after my next renewal I don't have worry free motoring and will have to pay an increased premium for a poorer policy.
