Finally had an excuse to use the w4nker lights
Discussion
Hi all,
Some random pictures taken in the early mist today - strangely relaxing to drive through early in the morning. Crucially this allowed me to take a picture of the car with the front fogs on without looking like a w4nker (possibly).
As an aside I parked outside a pub this evening to find a nearby cab driver having a fit of excitement over the car, "phwoooor, v8, that's boss!". Easy to just treat it as a car sometimes and forget how mental these things are

Sexy pics. Thanx. I would'nt use fogs unless foggy but i do drive with my side lights on all the time. On the 56 CV8's they are seperate from the head lights but not too bright and look really pretty. Had them on all day at Santa Pod. I know that air con affects 0-60 times and wonder if side lights would? Anyone.

As for lights, well the energy to run the lights has to come from somewhere, and the source of all the vehicle's energy is its fuel. Additional electrical items will increase the load on the engine via the alternator but I wouldn't expect the load to really affect the vehicle's performance. It should be _very_ slightly slower whenever any energy is sapped away to do something other than propel the vehicle.

Blokes can be blond too! I managed to get into the car in the fire-up road at the strip, fasten my belt, put on my helmet ; then realised the bonnet was up
Er, yeah, guilty of that too! It was a little better for me tho as I was in my VX220 at the time, so at least the bonnet was behind me. I should have left it propped up for extra down-force.
