i have decided to start a new thread with all the correct info now.

below are the part numbers for Wide angle Drivers Mirrors for both the VXR8 and the Monaro.

here are the prices i have managed to obtain form a pontiac dealer in the US

i am looking at trying to do a bulk order of parts to get the prices / shipping costs down. so i would like ot know who is interested in one of these mirrors.

Right we are going to go with Newgmparts.com due to cheeper prices and the fact they ship direct to the UK

i have been in touch with them and managed to get a 3% discount on the mirrors and wholesale discount on the shipping. (this is all bassed on 10 of each mirrors). they have told me if we order 20 of each we can get a further 3% discount on the mirrors.

i wish to place an order this saturday and if all being well take the mirrors to the Next meet in stevenage.

Right i have a friend who has agreed to take delivery of these in the US and send them on to me..

also have spoken to a new Pontiac dealer and they have agreed discount if we order about 10 or more of each mirror.

they was talking about 25% discount.....

can we get some numbers please.

I must say that's a much better price. I seem to remember paying BO55 £25 for mine. £52 + VAT is a little steep for a mirror. Would it be worth contacting them for a bulk discount rate, or getting the other place to price match?

good website nice find. cant say i found this one myself..

tempy i did speak to BO55 and the orginal prices i had which where higher than the ones quote where form the same place as boss got them from orginally. think they have gone up in price now days.

i iwll re-price with the new link and go from there as they actually do reasonable shipping rates to the UK as well.

Applogies all been away for a few days last min business trip. due ot lack of internet had issues chasing up the US guys. but all finally done and order placed. i have total price and will do the maths later when im more awake.

will keep you posted on when they get here. im hoping they may arrive befre the 20th but not hopefull.

Calculator now used the prices are as follows

£25 For Ro
10 for VXR8

these are all inclusive of shipping to the UK.

i will let you all know when they arrive on my door stop. im hoping this week but only time will tell.

while you are all doing this i will find out how much it costs to send them to you via recorded delivery and add it to the cost of the mirror(s) does this sound ok to people???
