vxr8 rear indicator fast flash issue (technote request)

Ok now my car is finally back I contacted VX to fix (for the 5th time) the fast rear indicator issue.
Amazingly even though its past its warranty they have agreed to sort it out. I think the fact I had it logged with them at before the warranty finished helped.
Anyway I recall someone here said they also replaced the rear light unit and the controller. Does that person have the Holden TID for this? Just in case VX only want to change the controller again. Which obviously doesnt work seeing as they did that 5x before for no benefit.
That being said the lady at Motorbodies did say they had ordered a pile of stuff to put it right as someone else had a similar issue.
Another + for Motorbodies, they have been very good for warranty work.

Yeah I suspect Ill need a light unit too!

Maybe, though I like the LED HSV unit... when it works properly
Ultimately the holden unit may be the go.

Bad design. Oz doesnt get as cold. Might alter resistance of the circuits etc.
Anyway as expected call came in recently modules didnt fix it, so new light units ordered and on the way. Not sure why they didnt do that 3 years ago when I first took it in for the problem. 5 visits later and finally got with the program.
But good on Motorbodies for sorting it out. Pick up monday all fixed is the plan. Kewl!

Well Im sure the HSV units are way less than £900 each as they are here. Still I think they might be £400 or so!
Which isnt nice.
On the other hand a Bentley GT headlight unit is £1800 IIRC.
