That looks superb... you must be really really glad you didn't sell her a few months ago now ??!!
Thanks Mike! Yep, had designs on a very special Tuscan Challenge car and racing in the DTEC this year, but half an hour before the deal was done on my Sagaris, the guy with the TC car reneged on the deal and has kept it to compete again this year. Oh well, at least I get to enjoy her for another summer.Buzz Billsberry said:

You called me loud mark? Hope to see you on Sunday I may bring the family and the Tuscan.
Mama always said, "Don't be a shy boy".I hope you and the family do make it mate, looks like it's going to be a good one. Email Trickie with your intent though as he needs numbers for the BBQ (he needs to make sure there are second and third helpings)!

one of the only times I got pulled by the police was because I had numbers on the car. To be safe take a roll of black electrical tape with you. If you get pulled put crosses over the numbers and they will let you go.
Looks great BTW
Blimey Paul, I did not know they have a problem with numbers on cars. Thank you for the heads up, I'll bear it in mind and take your advice on the black tape. Can Gemini give us a professional opinion on the law on this?Looks great BTW
Thank you ALL for the great comments. Marvellous day at Sherburn yesterday, although I forgot to take Trickie's advice on headwear and I'm now paying the price with a medium rare and very sensitive bonce!
John, I was really thrilled to see your new Sagaris in the flesh. In reality a brand new car. And those colours in the bright sunshine!!! Truly stunning looking car. I was stuck for words TBH. You're a very lucky boy. An awesome car and a wife who shares your passion!

I can clarify for you - it is illegal to drive a car on UK roads with race numbers on the car or numbers that look like race numbers. It is also illegal in certain parts of Europe, I found out about the UK law when driving back from Zolder when I still had the numbers on the car, I was asked to remove them which was not a problem as it was nothing as spectacular as your creation.
Strange law and strange interpretations as Audi has numbers on the doors of one of their small cars that they have just released.
Yep, also the special edition Beetle's.Strange law and strange interpretations as Audi has numbers on the doors of one of their small cars that they have just released.
