Just looking at Tams ! I want to drive one .I may cash the premium bonds in .cool

What is the true bhp on these 3.6 speed six engines not what TVR made up !

Still trying to get the handling right on my car and get the Measquirt sorted and it`s looking a bit tired ,needs carpets and a bit of paint work . ...How much more do i spend !

With a recent new engine fitted I would say it is a good price for the car.

I test drove one a week ago. Excellent steering and everything feels a bit lighter and more modern. I put a post up and someone sprints one and first time out took 1.5 seconds off a personal best on a short sprint.
The engine ,will i always have a sweaty high brow thinking ...is it going to blow !rolleyes

The TVR Power engines are proven to be very reliable I wouldn't worry about it,If serviced correctly and looked after you should get many many miles out of it. Dom gives a 100,000 mile warranty with his rebuilds so he is confident they are going to last!.
So whats a 2003 Tamora with the build worth compared to a good 2003 there about without a rebuild .

What type of mileage can you get when cruising ? and is there alot of difference next to the 4l .
Just went a meassage to the owner ,the Two year warranty is over .

Well whats got me down is the suspension after spending alot of money and since fitting the new Bosche high output fuel pump i have only been getting 10mpg .Might be getting interference troubling the ECU.

The Monos are excellent and a tad cheaper then Nitrons.

A lot is down to marketing, Nitrons have the name but trouble is there are few other players out there to compare.

In the real world we can tell the difference in between good and bad but if the performance of dampers is similar, we wouldn't be able to tell!

I took a ring nut around the ring for several laps in my Mono shod chim, he is a 8 min 15 second stripped out Evo driver and he thought my cars handling was unbelievably good, (he thought it would be crap tbh!).

Mostly it's down to a good setup.
I just think the 400/500LB springs are not suitable for road use ,there fantastic on perfectly smooth roads but other than that they struggle .

Sod being good on the track ,i want a shock absorber which i can adjust from soft to hard and not be limited to a couple of adjustments .They should be capable of being good n the road and the track.

Been on these forums for a few years now and never heard a bad word about Nitrons...What LB springs do Nitrons run on ?

My 3.6 has been tested at 370bhp. It will do 30mpg on a run and I have never seen less than 22.

Are they low geared or can you cruise at 80mph without the engine screaming .

Is there much difference between the 2002 cars next to the later models and what are the things to look at other than the engine ?

Daz, if you want a change, go for it but there isn't anything fundamentally wrong with your car.

Change the springs for standard + 20% about 330/400, (Derek might swap you a set) and have a proper set up. That will give a great complient ride.

You have a stonking motor in your car capable of cruising all day at 1500 RPM or frightening your pants off at speed so why change?
I weas thinking 450/375 but I have been told it`s not a simple spring swop ,the valving needs changing to suit the spring .

Standard is 275/325 iirc, so what you have is way to firm!
Mine are 500/400 !
