Hi all

I have been thinking seriously of letting the sag go for over 6 months now. I am honestly so confused a the moment with this car. For tears I looked at the YouTube video Wight he Rocky music and dreamed of owning that actual car, and when it came up for sale @ Str8six, I got the call from Jason, viewed the car and it was a done deal. Nearly two years down the line and thousands spent on keeping it in tip top condition, and I find myself a little empty on the TVR SAG ownership.

May be I do not realise how lucky we are to be able to have the pleasures of owning such a unique cars. The facts are that since the arrival of my little girl, things change. As a chap who chooses to work every hour god sends, you find that the weekends can't be spent on football, cars and bear. You find yourself wanting to spend time with the family. You feel very guilty to simplybplaybwith your toys and consider yourself only. If you then look at the st weather we are having, the appalling road surfaces and a Gatso camera on every corner you begin to ask yourself, when, where and how can I enjoy my car and get a adrelanin fix. It has become very difficult to acually go for a Saturday night blast or a Sunday morning blast, and I do mean a proper cob web blast.

So I find myself noting that other TVR friends are getting their kicks out of other avenues such as Modifying their cars or others have decided that Track days are the only way forward. Either way I can't see myself putting the a Green Goblin on a track, and as much as I would love a 4.3 and a modes bonet etc, etc, what's the point if you can't drive the car the way it was intended to.

The only kicks I get now is when I open the garage door, pull back to tailor made covers and simply look at what a spectacular car TVR has produced. I gently cover her up and convince myself that selling her would be the very biggest mistake of my life. I know I have bored you with my feeling here, but I am honestly looking to get the thought of other TVR owners who find themselves trying to run a business and succeed through these difficult times, allocate time for the family and your children, and then if and when the opportunity artists and we have good weather to take the beast out and have a great drive.

I myself are finding that it is difficult to satisfy all of the above and therefore find myself covering 1500 miles a year and spending a small fortune on maintenance and the occasional sensible mods, petrol and insurance.
This is not I quote an advert for me to sale my car, I am fully aware that we have a classified section, however I am going through so many thoughts with the sag lately that I truly am worried of making a decision that I will regret.

I can remember having so much more fun in my old cooper green T350c, and I do mean ear to ear smiles every time I drove it, and I got such an adrelanin rush from it. It was approx 6 years ago and yes it was my very first TVR. Maybe we get use to the power or maybe it's the awesome sound thatbthe T350c can produce that we miss.

Anyway the summary is that I do now own my dream car but find myself wanting to sell. Is there anyone else going through similar thoughts?
