Hi folks

As we already have a thread/sticky which contains various pictures of external colour options that
folks have used on their TVRs in the past, I thought it would be useful to have a similar thread
which records interesting, different or unique interior colours and/or trimming options that people
have used as well.

The intention would be to provide examples of trimming work that others could refer to in the future
to see what options might be available to them.

So, to start the ball rolling, here are a few that I have collected over the years...

...and yes, not all of them are from Sags, T350s or Tams biggrin

Its called a Momo-Trek R and is quite a popular replacement to the Personal steering wheels that came with the original cars in both
Tuscans, T350s and Sags.

It was also used as the replacement to the Personal in the TVR Sagaris Mk2 that never was.

From experience of using both, its a heck of a lot better than the standard one.

Hi Tony

The black quilting came from the Tagaris photos I posted a while back. It was trimmed by Dave the Trimmer in MK.

The driver's well stripping are pictures from Jason's latest completion of the last test effort built by TVR Austria before they packed it all in. Not sure you did it, but I'm looking into a costing of the effect now. To get the effect without removing anymore carpet from the well is cheap, less than 100 quid, but to ge the full affect you need to remove and repattern some of the carpet at the front. That is what I'm looking at costin up now.

Added: curved pedals are from the typhoon/t400 I believe. You could probably get some made up if you can use an example as a template.

Cheers

Hi Alex,

I'm at work at present and my phone is a PITA to reply from but as long as they're at least as comfy to use as the standard pedals then I'll have a set.
Np, mate. I'll send you an email later.

Like religion or politics, I regard these all as completely subjective. Some people will hate them, some people will love them.

The point of this thread was to show various options that could be done. I'm not intending to offer a critique on what people like or not as we all have our own tastes - including me biggrin

I think that was one of the show cars wasn't it ??
The CF interior one? Yes, think that was indeed a show car. A bit too sparse for my tastes, but the rest of it looks pure TVR insanity biggrin

Thanks for posting Alex, what is the first car with the centre console set up?
Cheers! Hmm, the shiny/gray/CF one? Not sure where that pic came from TBH. I think it was off a website
somewhere I found. Sorry, don't know anymore than that. Can't recall the URL either...

Probably a one-off that someone did.

Yes, someone from Tvr did it :-) The Prototype Sagaris had laquered parts on the dash. The car in the photo could be Claire's car.
Great! Thanks for that. I was getting curious and making searches of the web for anymore info biggrin

I lke the curved pedals too biggrin
But wondering why only two and not all three are curved ??
Tracked down a supplier for the curved pedals and ordered two for my Sag as they are fairly simple to fit to existing T cars.

Apparently, you can have a third for the accelerator, but highly discouraged as it makes driving more tricky...

One piece of good advice to remember is - if you don't like it, you can always change it to something that you like. For rarer cars, that is always a viable option. biggrin

Retrims are not that expensive when compared to the effort of finding the "perfect" car that may never be.

Thank you. It as now at that stage of one years ownership when you know's what with the car and am getting it just how I want it.

It has just had its big service at Neil Garners and told him to do all what was needed.
There is another topic about reliablity at the mo and I believe you need to keep on top of things, so to speak. However my garage is looking sad without a TVR in it. Roll on January.
Soon you will be getting as bad as Simon and me. getmecoat

Hi mate.

Yes and no.

Yes, a prototype has been done. It needs to be tested (when I have a car available to do that) and get my hands on the prototype.

No, I don't have a price yet as it depends on numbers ordered and if the prototype works ok.

Tbh - I've had other fish to fry, so it's way down the priority list currently. I have a number of other more involved projects
to focus on first. I'll get around to it, but not immediately. getmecoat

Is it possible to get as bad as you Alex;) I am beginning to think you have sold the Sag really and just don't want to admit to itlaugh
Yes, I must admit, it is difficult to get as bad as me. It can be done, but only after many years of experience and a big garden in which to hide the evidence...
