Chassis corrosion!

For those of you that haven't seen the "Tamora stuck brakes" thread here're some pictures of my Tamora's chassis. TVR Power noticed major corrosion which needed some sections to be cut-out and replaced! Dom hadn't seen a chassis this bad before and put the problem down to poor materials being used in its construction.
The car is just short of 11 years old and has covered 72,000 miles (see blog for full details).

It was a similar problem back then although it seems the full extent of the problem wasn't realised. It certainly hadn't got to the stage where sections needed replacing.
I don't have any facilities to check it myself so need to rely on TVR Power when the car's with them.
