Puddle lights

I've now got a pair of these sat on the bench. Before I look at wiring these in has anyone else done this yet and able to share a diagram. I assume I need to take the feed off the light on the roll hoop. But wondered if anyone had come across any better methods or existing wiring ( like the front speakers which were already wired in partially)

I wired mine off the switched 12v feed & earth to the interior light so they go on/off with the door opening or closing. Its easer to do with the seat out of the way so you can access the loom properly which can be spliced behind the panel to the side of the drivers seat.

Black is earth obviously, I think solid purple was the colour of the switched feed but its easy to check with your volt meter as there is a plug you can disconnect to put your meter over.

I just completed a group buy for the logo ones which were 12 quid each.

Assuming everyone contacts me back, I won't have anymore, but if not, then I could sell you a spare pair.

Alex, i got mine direct off ebay with screens from keith. but thank you for the offer

I'm considering under the door and or in the mirror. ideally id like to sort the wiring off the door solenoid and keep them under the mirrors so they light with deactivation of the alarm, with some auto off wiring, but well see. i don't have my car with me at the moment as its at the trimmers,

the interior lights are switched off the door solenoid, so easy enough to do that, just need to run a pair of wires through the door wiring connectors, unless their already in there.
