My Tam has the squits!

I have noticed that, the past couple of times I have been out for a really good drive in the Tam, the arse and diffuser seems to be peppered with what looks like tiny black spots.

Is this from the pops and bangs from the exhaust? I seem to recall my first Tam having this, but it was a much darker colour...

I don't think so - they come off very easily with a simple wipe, and tar spots aren't so easy to remove, which is why I'm thinking it's coming from the exhaust..

Could be engine out of tune slightly? Have someone rev it whilst you look at the exhaust and see if one side thows out smoke/bits. That's what I was advised with my new car.

May have a point there - it's been like ever since Dom refurbed my throttle bodies and gave the engine a bit of a tune..
