Considering selling?

Everything I expected and more with the exception to the bore scoring issues. One car I needed to own and lusted after since a kid really. I couldn't stretch to the gen II model with the reliable DFI engine so the bore scoring was always at the back of my mind. In fact I couldn't quite believe how well known and real the problem was, it very nearly ruined the dream!
I didn't buy through the Porsche network but their warranty is bumper to bumper so gives you total peace of mind.
My car had covered 70k without any signs of scoring so the chances of the engine developing problems were very slim. Apart from that, amazing to drive, great quality cabin, albeit dull compared to TVRs but they eat the miles in comfort and I used mine every day.
They are expensive to maintain through the main dealer network, specialists are well known and cheaper but I was always tinkering so spent some cash.
I will be back to Porsche if the gen II cheapens but they will only become more attractive as the gen I ages.
