ordered the AP Racing clutch kit, lightweight flywheel and slave kit, which arrived this morning, to go with new rad, hoses and cats!

I will probably be in a lot of trouble at some point, so I had better hide them for now... hehe

Oh yes, a has a little bag of small bulbs in with the package, what are these for?

He probably would have - but I want the 4.3 bill to be lower than my wife thinks when we are presented with it.

I figured that if I buy some of the more expensive 'add-on' bits I want down at the same time, I can spread the cost a little more, instead of one huge lump sum.

After this, the only things I will want are larger brakes, perhaps the CF airbox and trumpets and a CR box, finished off with a thorough geo and suspension set up.

My perfect Tamora - something I couldn't really afford to do when I had my first...

Not even sure if my clutch needs changing, but as Billynobrakes said in another thread, it would be silly not to, while the engine's out.

Bit late now, why didn't you ask for two bills from Dom?
I know - but I like the fact that a few expensive things to change are now already paid for...

The flywheel doesn't look particularly light weight. Who supplied it?
It's Powers' own:

Yes I did and I am sure you said your not sure when the clutch was changed and I also meant when your having the 4.3 rebuild but you slippery person your doing it bit by bit so the wife does not notice

Dom put a light weight flywheel in mine and its fine

I have bigger front discs on now 300mm and what a difference so much better, my advice though just put ferodo ds250 pads on they will be fine

in your case buy the pads one month and the dics the next month

have you upgraded to Lee Gascoigne's LCD dash read out, I have and you can actually see the thing even when the suns on it not like the crappy TVR one

then you will need the Momo Trek steering wheel so much better than the standard TVR one

Maybe change the Ali foot pedal cover to a nice carbon fibre one looks soo much better than the Ali one

if I think of anything else I will let you know

for T350 owners I have moved the bonnet stay forward about 4 inches and its so much better, I can now fill up the water bottle and check the oil without being bent double just needs to be tidied up by the body shop when she goes back for little bit of work
Already got the Momo trek R:

And the CF pedal plate

And Quaife ATB and refurbed diff:

And Nitrons:

And throttle bodies already re-bushed and new gaskets!

I do have the Lee Gascoigne's LCD dash screen, which I will have put on if and when the original starts playing up.

Think you will love the Quaife diff, quite brilliant if you like fun! . The racing clutch is marmite , fabulous on the move, but in traffic you really have to be on your game. Had one fitted at Power, but took it out after a month, the only way some times was to spin the wheels. The A P clutch on the move is just brilliant. The Nitrons take some fine tuning to get them right, if you set them for the track they will throw all over the road on normal driving. Got them on the Sagaris and have backed them off quite a few clicks over the last few months. When I had them on my Tamoras , I had two stage springs fitted to make the car better on the road. Which ever way you go I think FUN is going to with you, enjoy and hope get it sorted, keep us informed.
Cheers :0

I already have the diff and Nitrons fitted (This year I had a full re-trim and new rear screen/roof re done, new suspension, throttle bodies rebushed and the new diff). I do intend to get my Nitrons sorted though, as the ride is way too harsh at the moment. I like the idea of the 2-stage springs.

I had the AP clutch fitted to my first Tamora, I didn't mind it.

If my wife knew the true amount I have spent......hehe

I had an ultra-lightweight flywheel fitted to my wife's little roadster, along with an AP Racing clutch.

Many people told me that it would make the car more difficult in traffic, as it needed to be revved more to avoid stalling.

It didn't make the slightest bit of difference to drivability, and neither of us have ever stalled the car.

I was tempted by the Helix clutch and ultra lightweight flywheel, I have to admit. But ultimately, at this time, I'd rather give Dom the custom, as I very much doubt that the RG package would make that much noticeable difference in the real world.
