Dash "craziness"

most of the time, my dash is absolutely fine
occasionally, it has a minor fit for 5 minutes, then settles down

the temp readings and oil pressure readings will vary wildly for no reason, often accompanied by a "oil /water/pressure sender fault i quick succession

occasionally i will get a "oil pressure 60psi " warning flash for a second, then disappear.

the rest of the gauges and readings are unaffected.

It could be earths, I've checked, but ill check again
it could be a 5v signal to the senders is erratic (anyone know where that is generated from) it is so intermittent that I've not been able to get a meter on it to check


any suggestions?
