Gonna be soon, as my limited brain understands it I have three options;

OE AP Racing
Helix Autosport
Competition clutch kit.

I believe that the latter is the RG 'upgrade' but not sure what the Helix autosport gives.

Any guidance gratefully received...

Hi Lee
M4tti used the RG one which I believe he rates highly. While the 'box is out you may as well drop it up to Readmans for the C/R gear set!?
I might be thinking about that.... whistle

Yeah, just had a long chat with Colin and Martin at TVR Parts. Looks like the Helix problem will be sorted imminently - but as they are dependent on the factory, they can't say when.

The factory say around 10 days, but TVR Parts can't guarantee this, and want to prove the product first.

I know that I won't be believed, but my current AP clutch has lasted 32k. The previous one lasted 51k.

Yep; I've had the car from new, and would definitely have known if the clutch had been swapped! The first one was changed only because I was having an engine rebuild, and it made sense. There was still life in it.

Mind you, as the second one has lasted for only 60% of the mileage of the first one, looks like I'll be knocking on the door for Helix in about 18k miles frown

What are we expected not to believe? That the clutch ONLY lasted 32k or as MUCH as 32K?
The published life of an AP clutch is 18k.

You decide.

The first one lasted 51k.

Again - you decide.
