To grasp some sort of idea do you guys know how many Sagaris's have suffered catastrophic engine failures that required engine rebuilds
Thank you

Congratulations rocco I am sure you will enjoy it and love all the attention it brings, never fails to bring me home with a massive smile on my face

They are all original very special tvr designed and powered and just ooooze that feel good feeling. Not to mention at 10 years old still looking the dogs.

Friend at work told me it was a Ferrari today, obviously I soon corrected him and told him it was TVR!

Never had a bad word sad about it and for such outrageous looks it seems loved by everyone
Thanks mate
I guess the Sag being ostentatious will feel right at home snuggled up to the Diablo SV( both cars are drama queens and a handful best of times lol)
Exciting times ahead :-)

Hi guys these are my thoughts of the Sagaris
I drove back a good 350 miles from Aberdeen to Manchester and my opinions remain divided
Its always strange when driving a car you're not used to and especially in an environment that is alien to you
As i left Aberdeen i called at a petrol station to fill up and straight away i realised the Sag has no turning circle much worse than i anticipated frown
So the 350 mile journey begun, i was nervous at first thinking will the Sag make the 350 mile journey as they do have a tendency to breakdown. As i got out of the city and got on to the A90 my confidence grew as i put my faith in the Sag and went for it.Wow i didnt realise how sensitive the steering was, initially i thought it was the road and then my thoughts turned to the Sag and maybe there was an issue with the geometry set up yet a quick call to a friend confirmed the steering is very sensitive,so bearing that in mind i played a little to see exactly how sensitive it was, took about 5 minutes getting used to it and then relaxed once more as the confidence kicked in again.Took over an hour getting on the motorway, once on i was disappointed the Sag is not the quickest of cars, got to a certain speed and thought the Sag was going to fall apart, got to love the build quality lol.
What i found unbelievable was how comfortable the journey was.It is very very comfortable touring car,the only thing that put a dampener on that was the noise of the exhaust, wow its deafening especially for long journeys yet perfect for short ones.
Just so im not being harsh on the Sag i stopped off at Preston and met up with the 'green bandit' now he can drive!
His face lit up when i pulled into Tickled Trout,he said i heard you before i saw you!!
He said wow what a looker, what a colour and was impressed,i handed him over the keys,15 mins later he reappears with a big grin.We both agreed its not the quickest car in the stable yet i didnt buy it for that :-)
So all in all its okay, not the quickest, very sensitive, very noisy keeps you focused no margin for error, but for me and its a very big BUT its the looks that appeal to me next the colour and the sound after that all the rest is academic, think i can just about live with that :-)

Evening all
Firstly and foremost i need to clear one thing up Green Bandit is not a patronising w****r (TOV!E & 8nil) if it wasn't for him i would not have bought Sag,
Sagman my friend is No Numpty!
personally i dont think green bandit will lose sleep if hes not welcome on the TVR forum NOT his cup of tea
As for green bandits driving skills well he certainly knows how to handle a car, hence i stopped at Preston to get a second opinion.
I have owned many n/a cars inc 2 Honda NSX na1 & na2 and several 964 Carrera 2's,so i am familiar with how a n/a high revving engine works
As i said the Sag was never about speed, handling or noise it was about the looks
It will never be a patch on my Diablo SV or the Scud or the 64,what it well be that the others never will be is my driving car of choice, its got the looks and its very very very comfy, just the sort of thing a European tour would require
As for being a garage queen NOT a chance!!
Just for the record i love the Sag and always have, just never had the bottle to buy a plastic car that had a reputation of being unreliable
Yes i will be at Phantom Winger :-)
thank you all for your contribution made life a lot easier

Came on here to ask for some advice and got a huge response THANK YOU
What has perturbed me is the lack of understanding and those who misconstrue an opinion, which begs the question why not read what has been said and then take a moment to reflect before responding on impulse
I hope i haven't upset the TVR community with my findings, would like to remain in touch, some great people on here :-)

For the avoidance of any doubt there are number of us who go out driving searching for more demanding/challenging roads that keep us aware focused and test our ability to drive (there is no margin of error on the B roads we stumble across)
We are not snobs or envy what the others turn up in,to give to an idea we have cars such as Kit cars Mazda MX5's,308,360,355,430,Scud,Gallardo SL, Diablo SV,Aston V12,Cobra,R8,Viper,964.997 986 and McLaren 650s and TVR yes TVR's
The age of the drivers are from 21-65 we all enjoy the drive outs, some take their time some get ahead of the programme like naughty school kids lol if we lose sight of other drivers we pull over and regroup and carry on.
The most fun part is when we stop for a bite to eat,the banter we have is better than the drive out.We call each others cars their driving abilities yet we all agree we are having an awesome day!
I organise the runs and if anyone of you guys would like to join in then please PM me,you will see the real side of green bandit and all the others
Tomorrow we have a small group and the plan is to head to North Wales
Have a nice day guys and enjoy your cars :-)

Funny, I too have the 4.3 and have never been under the illusion that my little Tam was a 'Supercar'. It's a fast sports car at its best when B-Road blasting. It's not a 12 cylinder multi turbo'd continent muncher - but then again, it's a fraction of the price.

15 years ago, it may have been a different story...
15 years there was the likes of of the NSX arguing it out with the 355
