Please can someone enlighten me and tell me what other car manufacturer shares the same discs and pads as a 2006 Sagaris
Part number or what is the choice of most Sagaris owners
Thank you

The pads in my Sag have started screech and after a spirited run out there is a lot of grey coloured dust (brake dust) covering the front wheels and the bottom of the car
Is that normal?

Did your other cars have carbon ceramic brakes ? These brakes develop less brake dust than the steel brakes on the Sagaris. These are like most other brakes and develop a lot of brake dust under heavy braking.
And don't look for brake pads which promise less dust, they won't work :-)
Only the Scud has ccb brakes
Porsche is on steels as is the Diablo
Sag stops fine just never seen so much brake dust on my other cars especially wheels

Pads produce dust. Some produce a lot, some produce a little. It's not a TVR issue / related.
I agree pads produce dust but never seen dust on the this level (wheels turn grey with dust)

My Scud is pearl white and never noticed brake dust on the rims or the lower body
Diablo SV is yellow same again never seen brake dust on that
Finally Porsche 964 turbo is in red with bbs lm wheels and as above no brake dust
Had many many supercars and performace cars yet never seen brake dust like this

Car stops fine and free from binding as you said maybe its the pads
The previous owner looked after the Sag extremely well so i cant see Graham overlooking such importance
Ive sent a text to Graham asking which pads he used
Thank you all for your input

pads in the Sag are Mintex F2 which are good for track use yet do have a tendency of squealing

Other than the brakes, how are you finding Sag ownership compared to your other cars?
This Sag has it all, amazing looks(which is the reason i bought it for) the sound it makes is unreal(pops and bangs) makes an awesome GT car (very very comfortable) how it handles the road is phenomenal (like a go cart on steroids) as for the performance,it shocked me.Also being manual its an old school drivers car that you can engage with and rewards you handsomely. So in a nutshell sice ive owned it ive almost done 1000 miles and hand on my heart I LOVE IT
Difficult to compare with the others cars i own as they too are very special cars and i feel very very privileged to own them, but at this moment of time my choice of preference is the Sag :-)

Excellent! Make sure you tell all the other Ferrari owners you know so the values keep going up wink
Lets not turn this topic into values like some of the Ferrari/Porsche threads lol
The pleasure i get when driving the Sag can not be measured in financial terms
I have no interest in what its worth in 12/24/36 months time, all i want is to engage/focus on man and machine in harmony :-)
