Battery trickle charger

Hi All

Happy New Year I hope everyone's coped if they're back at work today

I've currently have an optimatecharger which is about 8 years old which I use for the Tam which I normally plug in once the car is parked up for the winter. I'm looking for a new one and was wondering what's out there?t what the current technology is? Good or bad etc.I'm probably looking at one via the cigarette charger or are they a no no. The old charger will be used to keep the the race car battery on charge and a couple of spare batteries topped up etc.

Any help and direction would be great

No I haven't but coincidentally I've been speaking with Brendan today about the order I've placed for my CF airbox.... I'll have a look at the the brain box later tonight but first impressions are why would I need one? I didn't see the point...but on saying that I was looking on the website with no reading glasses on my mobile so I could have just made up what I thought I'd read !
