After a year in storage (we renovated our house and we all had to move out for a year) I collected the Sag in December and remembered the day I dropped it off at storage the rear screen had stopped opening. It literally stopped working as I dropped it off so I dint have an opportunity to investigate. I've only just got round to looking at the problem and had read that the rear screen solenoid and the cigarette lighter are on the same fuse. With the help of Graham's trusty manual I've located and changed what I believe is the relevant fuse (number 11 which is 20A). The fuse I removed looked to be fine but changed it anyway.

However the back screen still won't open. Any ideas??

Carl, Many thanks. I thought that might be the case. I might give Jason at Str8six a call and get a price.

Tony, Many thanks.

How did you get the badge off to add the sticky pad?

EvoOllies, Thanks, I'll give the ECU fuse a try later this evening.

Englishman, Thanks, I have a feeling it's either the connection to the ECU or a faulty switch as I'm not getting any sound at all from the boot solenoid release when I press the Sagaris badge.

PufffsBack, Not sure when they changed, I didn't know they did before your post. I believe mine is an early car as it was at the factory launch day. It would be interesting to know why they changed, Quolity issue or just ran out of stock?? I've also always wanted to know why later cars have external aerials?? I may be luck but when I do have the radio on the reception is OK....

Interesting as my car is pretty early as well - June 05 - it has the T350 style seats, metal stalks etc. So as EvoOli says must have been a very early change.

Confused the hell out of me when viewing - I had to ask, very embarrassingly, Heath (X Works where the car was stored) how to open the boot.

You can clearly see the button in this pic between the number plate lights

Very TVR in terms of little apparent reason for things done very differently. But you've got to love the result!!!! The colours fantastic and probably my alternative choice had I not gone orange.
