Basically, sizes being available, I'm looking at Yoko AD08R and Toyo T1R. The Yokos come at a pretty big premium over the Toyos.

Is it worth the difference? Are the AD08s that much better? It's mostly for road use - in fact I have a set of 16" rims with Proxes on which I intend to use for the track.

Thoughts on a postcard....

Oh, also sizes. I'm thinking of 255/35 (or 40) 18 rear, and 235/40 18 front. Also, any thoughts; it seems to be a tested combination.

Seemsi to be a challenge getting the Toyos in 255/35 18 at the moment.

BTW My Tam came as 'standard', from new, with 225/35 front and 235/40 rear.

Anyone have the same on theirs?

Interesting. I think I'll investigate the maximum size I can fit to the front workout problem.

Currently going for 235/40 as these seem to fit, certainly the later Tam. Raising the ride height might improve matters.

Currently running Toyo front and rear, 225/35/18 and 245/18/40, need new fronts soon so interested to see where this one goes, been recommended Uniroyal Rainsport 3 as a mid range alternative, £100 as opposed to £110
At the moment, I'm looking at 235/40 18 front and 255/35 18 rear. I'm tending towards Toyo, but it seems there may be a difficulty in getting the 255/35 18 size so I may end up with the Yokos in the same size.

I'm interested in the concept of the same size front and rear, as that is what the 16" rims run, but it might be a bit of a costly mistake to go that way.

So a little more thinking and measuring before I commit.
