Sag passenger footwell trim

Okay, I know these cars are made of glue and cable ties but there must be a simple fix to stop the footwell carpet covering the electronics from dropping down every time I hit a bump. I have tried Velcro and glue but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to get a good bond. Anyone come up with a reliable fix?
