Powers 4.3 - Car Insurance

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for car insurance. So far, Adrian Flux are coming out at £650 on <3000 miles p/a, I am 46, have >10 NCD, no points, no convictions, and the car will be stored in a secure lockup, albeit at my brothers property. Safe postcode.

The insurance will be on a 4.3 T350C.

I have nothing to benchmark this against, aside from a quote from Footman James which was significantly more. I am not sure what the 4.3 upgrade does in terms premium hikes, but I suppose anything non-standard has the potential to attract a significant premium.

I have been flirting with a TVR for about a year, and I think this could be the one!!

In the meantime, I'll call a few more companies, but any recommendations appreciated.

Well, great advice. Classic Line came up trumps. . . . with a much cheaper quote, and with better cover.

I was a bit surprised how much my lack of TVR experience drew in takes of breath at some of the companies, but then again, I suppose they do bite :-)
