Afternoon peoples.

I remember seeing a thread about the dash being 'on' despite no ignition key being in place. Can I find it now? No.

Can anyone advise as to what I need to check? Or point me to relevant threads.

The car has been stood for a month and pretty damp. I have a heater in it currently.

It is on trickle charge so the battery should be fine.

Could it simply be the damp?

Quick update.

Had a look at the fusepanel and it is covered in condensation. So have repositioned the small heater fan to concentrate on this area.

The car has been parked up as the fuel pump cut out. Turns out the fuse had blown. Today, I swapped out and the new one blew instantly. This might be becuase of the damp on this occasion but I expect there is another issue which is still present that caused it to blow originally.

Load of 'absorbant' bags in the car and the heater (on low thermastat setting) left in the car this week. Noted that teh dash had gone off when I left yesterday - but that could be a flat battery laugh

Right.

Looks like the damp was causing this issue.

Car been dried out this week and the dash is 'off'. Now just need to sort the non-running.
