CR gearbox

Hi All,

Have the itch, having owned the Tuscaris for almost a year , I'd like to give it a bit more poke. The 4.3 / 4.5 engine upgrade will be done in a couple of years once the present engine warranty runs out, but I fancy a CR box if it's worth it. Read loads on here and majority think it's a good upgrade. Sadly I live in London so a fair bit of traffic. Has anyone done the change on their sagaris recently and have they been thrilled with it or regretted it. Would value your thoughts!

I don't think any box upgrade is cheap esp if you do the diff at the same time. I suppose is it worth it.??

I'm also thinking about an engine upgrade, Str8six did the original rebuild and still hads 2 years warranty left on it. Always looking for more torque, afaik. There doesn't seem much price difference between 4.3 and 4.5 so do people prefer the 4.3 for other reasons ?! Driveability?! Road / traffic conditions !?

Again would value thoughts!

Based on above it seems nobody regrets getting a car box fitted so will def book it in !
