why do TVR break up for 2 weeks?

re:factory closing down for two weeks next month.

Just interested to know why TVR dont stagger their breaks.
Im not having a go,just thought if they staggered holiday leave they could keep up with production better?

As im not in the trade I don't know if this is standard in the Automotive industry.

Im all for as much hols as poss in the summer,just thought it seems strange from a business point of view to shut down for two weeks.

Rudegirl,what car you getting?

Wouldnt it be better for the customer to know they could get parts/engine or whatever if needed?

From a staff point of view that must be a pain in the butt knowing you had that little flexability when booking your hols?
