Door Seals - Ford focus?

I get a bit of wind noise from the top front of my drivers window which, when poked at speed seems to be because the door seal is a little flat and doesn't hug the glass as it should. Also the doors doin't spring open that well and again I'm assuming my door seals have compressed a little.
Is it true that Ford Focus door seals are a little fatter and as such a good remedy to the above? If so are they easy to fit? How to I get the little compressed bit at the bottom for drainage? And finally does anyone know what model Focus they come from?
